Lakeside Adventist Hospital, Kandy

Established in 1965, Lakeside Adventist Hospital is a not for profit Christian institute operated by the Seventh day Adventist church.

 

Our hospital is part of a healthcare system with a global presence of more than 1000 facilities around the world having a total of 36,000 beds and 78,000 employees. In the year 2022, we recorded 1.5 million admissions and 20 million outpatient visits worldwide.

We belong to the Northern-Asia Pacific Division (NSD) being one of the 13 headquarters of the global Seventh-day Adventist church.

There are eight countries under the NSD, Bangladesh, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Taiwan. We operate churches, schools and Hospitals in the NSD territories.

 

We operate 12 Adventist Hospitals under the NSD.
